Nestled in the scenic Adirondack Mountains, the history and vintage Hickory Ski Center is just one hour from Albany. The family-friendly ski center lives off only natural snow, which adds to that vintage ski experience.

Also adding to the vintage experience is the 1950’s Poma lifts making riding up almost as much fun as skiing down. With 1,200 vertical feet and 19 trails, the mountain may seem small, but three surface lifts provide access to all different types of terrain.

The cozy lodge boasts a front porch that runs the entire length of the lodge, with views of the slopes and a great place for relaxed dining or drinks at the end of the day. After skiing, get warm and cozy at the lodge’s large circular firepit with built-in bench seats, a focal point of social activity in the lodge.
