The World Peace Temple at Kadampa Meditation Center New York is open, free to the public Christmas Eve, Christmas Day 2020 and New Year's Day 2021.
Temple Grounds and Nature Walking Trails are open from 9:00 AM - Dusk.
Stroll around the Kadampa Buddhist World Peace Temple. Buddhists believe that walking around a Temple that houses a statue of Buddha brings great good fortune. It is called ‘circumambulating’ and is usually done in a clockwise direction.
The World Peace Buddhist Temple is open for FREE Tours from 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM. The Buddhist Book store and Gift Shop housed in the Temple veranda are also open.
World Peace Cafe Coffee shop is open. Window ordering, outdoor seating. Enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate and homemade baked goods.
