Runs Feb. 4-July 23: Gallery hours: Wednesday through Sunday: 11 am – 5 pm (Closed Mondays, Tuesdays, and holidays)

Collection:” Illuminating America’s first Intentional art colony, this exhibition presents more than 100 artists whose paintings, sculptures, and works on paper together form an artistic history of national and international significance. Long before the music festival in 1969 made Woodstock, New York, famous, it was home to what is considered America’s first intentionally created, year-round arts colony—founded in 1902 and still thriving more than 100 years later. Collecting the remarkable range of work produced there was Anderson’s focus for three decades, resulting in the largest comprehensive assemblage of its type. The artists represented in it reflect the diversity of those who came to Woodstock, including Birge Harrison, Konrad Cramer, George Bellows, Eugene Speicher, Peggy Bacon, Rolph Scarlett and Yasuo Kuniyoshi, among many others. The exhibit may also be viewed online at http://www.nysm.nysed.gov/exhibitions/online/historic-woodstock-art-colony-arthur-anderson-collection.

Live music from 6 PM - 9 PM!
Ben Wayne combines the best of all worlds: reggae rhythms, southern rock soul, pop hooks, SoCal swag and piles of attitude. He doesn’t break a sweat, but he does break strings delivering choice covers and soulful originals that connect with audiences every time. Pinned as the continuation of the Sublime tradition, Wayne has carried the torch since his start, bringing that same energy, excitement and unpredictability to the stage.

The lean trio plays authentic roots rock in the tradition of Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley, with dashes of country, blues and hot jazz mixed into their outstanding originals.
The Goners vast repertoire includes a mix of rarefied songs and instrumentals performed with sincere excitement, freshness and finesse. Their vocals are la

Open Road Acoustic is a Leather-and-Lace duo consisting of John and Becki. John learned to sing from the front seat of a Ford Maverick barreling down the beach parkway in Long Island, NY. With a gritty vocal style his influences come from Ronnie James Dio, David Coverdale, Conway Twitty and Meatloaf. Becki hails from the musical country of Germany. Her sweet voice and harmonies are a sharp, yet complimentary, contrast to her gritty counterpoint. “A great song is a great song regardless of the genre,” is their moto. Bringing their own spin on hits from across the decades, every song will include their style.

Chartered by a licensed coast guard captain, the pontoon boat provides a smooth ride while a knowledgeable tour guide points out fascinating nautical attractions and historical landmarks.
Visitors to the Lighthouse should plan to spend about two hours total (including to and from transit time) for their experience and tour captains reserve the right to cancel or cut-short any trip due to weather or safety concerns.
Tours depart at the H. Lee White Maritime Museum, which houses one of the finest collections of Maritime Objects and Historical collections in the Great Lakes.

Cultures across the world and throughout time are united in a fascination with the night sky. Humans have used stars to mark the passage of time, tell stories, build mythologies, and navigate across vast dark oceans. With powerful telescopes and a wealth of knowledge, Bob Piekiel is your tour guide to the stars and planets, revealing the secrets of the far away, inspiring us to think about how special our little green and blue ball in space is.
It gets dark late so let’s have a look at Venus’ best appearance for the year, and the 1st-quarter moon. This program is offered for free thanks to our Star Party Program Sponsor, Marcellus Smiles.
