View, in Old Forge, NY, announces the exhibit of paintings by Karen Barnes, 2023 poster artist for ANEAW. The work is on display through July 29th till September 24th. Karen Barnes is this years Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors Poster artist. Barnes from Rome, New York, has been painting the Adirondacks for several years =. Beyond watercolor, Barnes is also an accomplished glass artist, muralist and illustrator. She’s especially well know for her illustrations for National Geographic, Hallmark and two children’s books.

The painting by Barnes selected for this year’s ANEAW poster, “The Kayaker” is on display at View and available for purchase, along with signed posters of the image. Additional examples of Barnes’ work
