The Adirondack Folk School (AFS), a non-profit organization founded in 2010, is focused on celebrating and preserving the cultural heritage of the Adirondacks through promoting creativity and self-reliance by teaching the arts, crafts and traditions that define our legendary region. AFS is honored to participate in this special exhibit at Tannery Pond where our talented artisan instructors can share their work with the North Creek community. In this collection, you will find pieces from several AFS Instructors including Dennis Wilson, a highly skilled chip carver, Mark Swanberry, a copper artisan, and Janet Flinchbaugh, a floor cloth stenciling artist.
