The tale of two young lovers, Kitri and Basilio, infused with the vibrancy of Spain and funny comedy in Chiara Ajkun’s choreographic version of Don Quixote for Ajkun Ballet Theatre. Based on Miguel de Cervantes’s novel and libretto by Marius Petipa, the ballet acquired global popularity with Baryshnikov’s version for American Ballet Theatre. Music by Leon Minkus. Starring Momoko Burbine (Kitri), Klevis Tafaj (Basilio), Kylie Brown (Mercedes), Telmen Munkherdene (Espada), and with Areum Jeong (Dulcinea), Ariel Corrêa (Gamache), Nicole Iervasi (Don Quixote), and Bianca Delli Priscoli (Lorenza).
