Gilbert and Sullivan’s beloved Tony Award-Winning musical comedy of mistaken identity, romance and swashbuckling pirates comes to the Dawn Lipson Canalside Stage. The story of a roguish Pirate King, his adventurous young charge, a bevy of clever maidens and a “Modern Major General” is as hysterically funny and entertaining as it was when it premiered in 1879.
