Join Community Members, State & Community Leaders, and Dignitaries for the Official Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Grand Reopening of the newest exhibits at the Safe Haven Holocaust Refugee Shelter Museum in Oswego, NY. This special museum (the only one of its kind in the World) recounts the lives and stories of the 986 'Safe Haven' refugees who were rescued from the horrors of the holocaust in Europe and brought to Fort Ontario in 1944 during WWII at the behest of President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

There will be refreshments and complimentary tours of the NEW Museum Exhibits and Fort Ontario grounds from 2-4 pm immediately following the ceremony.
