2024 dates TBA: Spanning the gap of theater and film, AFF offers a unique vantage point for a film festival as it embraces the similarities and differences in storytelling and the process from page to stage to screen. The festival features panel discussions, a free family series, exciting special events, and 100+ films showing feature films, short films, web series, children's films, and documentaries – all taking place on 7 screens in six downtown Glens Falls locations.

Test your film-making mettle at the festival, which will showcase a cool contest where local actors and directors will be invited to create a film in 48 hours. AFF provides the equipment - you make the movie! Audiences will vote on their favorites and awards will be presented to the winners.

Due to the popularity of its virtual event in 2020, the festival are considering adding a virtual element to our standard festival that would allow patrons to watch some of the films at home (only available to view in concert with the live screenings).

Proceeds from the Film Festival will go to benefit the Adirondack Theatre Festival.
