Set on 800 acres of manicured grounds at the site of the 1969 Woodstock festival, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts offers multiple stages featuring a diverse selection of popular and legendary artists along with culturally rich performances. Bethel is located 58 miles southwest of Woodstock.

The Pavilion Stage amphitheater can accommodate 15,000 both under cover and on a natural sloping lawn. Featuring unique views to the original festival site and the scenic majesty of the surrounding Sullivan County countryside, the stage has been host to a wide variety of artists from rock to classical, and country to jazz.

The center’ award-winning museum, The Museum, is dedicated to the social, political and cultural events of the 1960s, including the 1969 Woodstock festival. Bethel Woods Center for the Arts also hosts educational and community programs in the arts, history and civic engagement realm.

New in 2019, the center’s restored Bindy Bazaar trails open to the public for the first time since 1969. These trails originally served as a marketplace with 20 booths where vendors sold crafts, clothing, and exotic goods and connected two major areas of the festival grounds. These recreated network of trails through the wooded area west of the festival field will allow guests to explore the area and see historic evidence of the market.
