Weathered Hill - Sleigh Rides at Weathered Hill Farms
Make a day of it and tour the farm and let the kids spend time with the animals
Located on an 1800s homestead in the Catskills, Weathered Hill Farms is open for tours and hosts events throughout the year. In the winter, the farm offers horse-drawn sleigh rides where your can snuggle up under a blanket to enjoy a 30-minute ride around the farm. (Weather permitting. If there is no snow, wagon rides are offered instead).
Rides are offered monthly in the winter; please call or visit website for dates and times. Romantic rides are offered by appointment only for Valentine’s Day.
Make a day of it and tour the farm and let the kids spend time with the animals. Or, make a weekend of it and stay at the farm’s bed-and-breakfast, a beautifully restored one-room schoolhouse just down the bend from the farm. The farm adds camping opportunities in the summer.
