Three generations of the Lucas family invite you to come and experience the award winning wines at Cayuga Lake’s oldest winery. Four decades of grape growing and fine wine making have won the Lucas family International and regional acclaim since 1980. Today, the Lucas estate is now home to 14 grape varieties, including Riesling, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer and winter hardy hybrids like Vignoles, Vidal Blanc and Cayuga White.
Internationally acclaimed wines like Extra Dry Sparkling Methode Champagnoise, Reserve reds, iced dessert wines, three Rieslings, Dry Rose and other varietals are also crafted under the Lucas label and the fun, nautical-themed Tug Boat Wines, Nautie Wine series and sweet Butterfly round out the diverse collection of tastes and flavors at Lucas. The vineyard and its on-site gift shop is open year-round except for some major holidays.
