Situated on a peninsula on the east shore of the Hudson River, this 508-acre park offers year-round events and activities along with camping, hiking, swimming and fishing. The park is also the site of historic wine cellars that are thought of be the oldest in New York State and the Croton Point Nature Center.
 

For camping, the park offers tent and RV sites as well as cabins with views of the Hudson River.
 

Amenities include a sandy beach, launch a boat (sailboards, canoes, kayaks, and car-top carried boats only), pavilions, grills, playground and ballfield. The park is also a popular spot for bird watchers, with frequent sightings of bald eagles and several species of hawks. Cross-country skiing is available in winter.
