With exhibits promoting learning through interactive play, the Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum is the only children’s museum in the Hudson River Valley and sees more than 75,000 visitors each year. 
 

Located in the heart of the historic waterfront, the museum offers five exhibit galleries and a outdoor children’s garden focusing on early learning, science, literacy, math, art, music and community.
 

It also hosts the seasonal Poughkeepsie Waterfront Market which operates Monday afternoons from 3-6:30 p.m. from May through September.
