A 150-acre refuge in New York’s Hudson Valley, the animal sanctuary has seen more than 5,000 farmed animals, representing 11 species, rescued from cruelty, neglect and abandonment since 2001. Currently, more than 300 animals call The Catskill Animal Sanctuary home.


The sanctuary is open to the public on weekends from April through November and offers 90-minute tours, an hour-long kid-friendly tour (April through October only), or a stroll with a Day Pass.
