Today, the all-new Explore & More – The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children’s Museum offers 43,000 square feet with four floors of fun at Buffalo’s waterfront at Canalside.
Founded in 1994 in a 500-square foot basement schoolroom, Explore & More started with an all-volunteer staff and saw 1,000 visitors. It then grew into a 6,000-square foot facility in East Aurora seeing more than 60,000 visitors before another growth spurt in 2019. Today, the all-new Explore & More – The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children’s Museum offers 43,000 square feet with four floors of fun at Buffalo’s waterfront at Canalside.
Designed for children from birth to 12 years of age, the museum is for and about Buffalo and features seven play zones and three educational studios that encourage children to explore their interests through the power of play.
