Grass Point State Park
Located along the St. Lawrence River, Grass Point State Park is known for some of the best fishing in the country.
Located along the St. Lawrence River between Clayton and Alexandria Bay, Grass Point State Park is known for some of the best fishing in the country. The park is also a popular spot for campers and day-users, who come to boat, swim, fish, picnic or just to relax.
The park offers a marina and boat launch, an area is available for games, and the sandy beach and shallow water are excellent for children. The park also features the Grass Point cottage, a full-service accommodation on the beach with a screened-in porch has some outstanding views of the river and sunsets.
PET POLICY: Household pets are welcome but must be leashed. Campsites are limited to two household pets.
