Coursing a short distance along the Western-most Pennsylvania State Border, this part of the trail contains a mixture of lakefront attractions along the shores of two Great Lakes - Lake Erie and Lake Ontario - then passes by the awe-inspiring natural wonders of Niagara Falls, and the Niagara River Gorge. The region includes the destination cities of Niagara Falls and Buffalo – the state’s second largest city – which promises a plethora of cultural attractions, architectural treasures and culinary options along with family-oriented activities and exciting nightlife.
