internationally acclaimed guitarist and singer Loren Barrigar started playing guitar when he was only four years old, and by the time he was six, played the Chet Atkins hit “Yackety Axe” in front of thousands of country music fans at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. He went on to study with Jimmy Atkins (Chet’s brother) which led to a touring career with his family band from Nashville to Las Vegas. Since settling down in Central New York, he has been in constant demand as a studio musician. Loren's finely-honed songwriting skills have launched his melodies on NBC’s #1 rated show “ER”, “The Young and The Restless” and on a Christmas CD with BB King and Patti Labelle. He has performed with some of the best acoustic players in the world including Stephen Bennett, Richard Smith, John Knowles, Muriel Anderson and more. / With more than 22 albums, hundreds of songs written, and thousands of shows, J. Schnitt has established himself as one of the premier singer-songwriters in the independent music world today. He has won a variety of songwriting awards and praises including recognition from the International Songwriting Contest for "excellence in songwriting", among many others. With his souped-up guitar, harmonicas, and homemade foot-percussion and suitcase drum, he typically performs over 150 shows a year. In existence for more than 30 years, the Oswego Music Hall offers mostly acoustical musicians every other Saturday night from September to June. On concert evenings, a large empty hall is transformed into an intimate venue replete with candlelit tables, professional staging and sound; as well as an array of freshly baked desserts, hot cider and freshly brewed coffee.

J.Wail Live Band & Special Guests are a collaboration of a variety of musicians from different realms, who come together to melt and fuse live instruments with sounds of their electro funkiness. This winter, J.Wail along with an all-star lineup, will head out on the “WinterStellar FunkDown Tour” with Natalie Cressman of Trey Anastasio Band and special guests on the tour ranging from members of Ghost-Note/Prince, Turkuaz, Particle and The Heavy Pets. The special guest lineup will kick off the tour in the Northeast in mid-January. Melding together the sounds of funk, electronic beats and a live band, J.Wail, along with his Live Band and an array of special guests, rise to the call of the sonic traffic controller, creating a realm of joy, funky flavors and euphoria for all. The dance floor becomes the launch pad where the band fuses live instrumentation with organic electronica propelling mind, soul and booty into the upper stratosphere of sound. Stretching into the DJ-based dance sound with the approach of a live band, J.Wail encompasses genre and mind bending music, with the element of surprise and improvisation. On a quest to spread music, tours have logged stops on many corners of the globe and far off galaxies. “Wailien” dance parties have been spotted in North America, Asia and Africa. Guests of the show are always encouraged to dress in their finest “Wailien” attire.

Gratefully Yours is a Grateful Dead inspired band, based out of New Paltz, NY. The band was conceived and founded in 2012 by keyboardist Alex Mazur, who is also the founder of The Deadbeats; one of the longest running Grateful Dead cover bands in existence. However, “cover band” is an extremely misleading term when it comes to the music of Gratefully Yours. Their willingness and ability to improvise, and their openness to spontaneity and the energy of the moment lie at the core of their performances and truly sets them apart. In the very best tradition of The Grateful Dead, it is this openness that allows the crowd to become a part of the creative process and results in a synergy between the band and the crowd that is unique and truly special.

Ghost Light’s brilliant debut album, ‘Best Kept Secrets,’ functions much like the band itself, drawing beauty and strength from both its complementary pairings and its unexpected juxtapositions. Formed in 2017, Ghost Light brings together five consummately talented artists from across the musical spectrum—guitarists/singers Tom Hamilton and Raina Mullen, pianist Holly Bowling, bassist Dan Africano, and drummer Scotty Zwang—and thrusts them into a wholly new context. The result is a record that transcends the sonic contributions and background of any single member, a collection that’s at once gritty and refined, sprawling and restrained, straightforward and psychedelic.

"The simple fact is that James McMurtry may be the truest, fiercest songwriter of his generation..."Stephen King | Entertainment Weekly. The acclaimed songwriter’s new Complicated Game, McMurtry’s first collection in six years, spotlights a craftsman in absolutely peak form as he turns from political toward personal (“These Things I’ve Come to Know,” “You Got to Me”). Complicated Game delivers McMurtry’s trademark story songs time and again (“CopperCanteen,” “Deaver’s Crossing”), but the record brings a new (and certainly no less energetic) sonic approach.

Anyone familiar with the Americana music scene knows this Upstate, New York-based band has cut their teeth on a killer live show. With a never-ending tour schedule and a steady buzz, they have built a very solid underground fan base. It is with this bond, patience, determination and undying mutual love and respect for music, the road, and their friendship, they have approached their latest offering, 'Tree of Shade.' With the addition of drummer Will Sigel in April 2018, Driftwood feels like a new band. "Will has elevated our sound without changing the intimate dynamic that is Driftwood," observes bassist Joey Arcuri. With this added momentum and a new album, a nationwide tour is set in support of 'Tree of Shade.' In existence for more than 30 years, the Oswego Music Hall offers mostly acoustical musicians every other Saturday night from September to June. On concert evenings, a large empty hall is transformed into an intimate venue replete with candlelit tables, professional staging and sound; as well as an array of freshly baked desserts, hot cider and freshly brewed coffee. Family friendly. Wheelchair accessible.
