Each year the Erie Canal Museum transforms into a festive 1800’s canal town street scene with gingerbread creations on display in storefront windows. // Before or after you visit the Gingerbread Gallery, be sure to explore the rest of the Museum. We share 200 years of Erie Canal history through exhibits and original artifacts. A visit to the Museum includes a full-size replica canal boat, exhibits about Erie Canal commerce and communities, the award-winning Locktender’s Garden, and the 1850 National Register Weighlock Building. // Admission to the Museum, which includes the Gingerbread Gallery, is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors (65+), $4 for children 3-17, and free for children 2 & younger.

Daniel Schroeder (b. 1991) is a painter who lives and works near Albany, New York. He was awarded a full tuition scholarship to The Cooper Union, where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2014. He has been the recipient of numerous awards, and his work is in private collections around the country, as well as in the collection of the Albany Institute of Art.

The World Peace Temple at Kadampa Meditation Center New York is open, free to the public on New Year's Day 2021.
Temple Grounds and Nature Walking Trails are open from 9:00 AM - Dusk.
Stroll around the Kadampa Buddhist World Peace Temple. Buddhists believe that walking around a Temple that houses a statue of Buddha brings great good fortune. It is called ‘circumambulating’ and is usually done in a clockwise direction.
The World Peace Buddhist Temple is open for FREE Tours from 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM. The Buddhist Book store and Gift Shop housed in the Temple veranda are also open. World Peace Cafe Coffee shop is open. Window ordering, outdoor seating. Enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate and homemade baked goods.

Short films were selected from more than 565 submitted from over 64 countries and includes a special “Our Great Lakes Connection," created through a partnership with the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation, the Lake Ontario Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council and Thunder Bay International Film Festival. STFF will present five Great Lakes films accompanied by a live streaming panel discussion January 31 at 6:00pm.
