Live the magic of the classic Polar Express™ Train Ride story with the Adirondack Scenic Railroad. Depart from Utica’s Union Station and travel north while being served hot chocolate and cookies, interacting with Cocoa Chefs, and listening to Liam Neeson’s reading of The POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride, by Chris van Allsburg.

When you arrive at the North Pole (Holland Patent, NY), Santa will board the train, spending time with each and every family during the return trip and giving children the first present of Christmas (a silver bell, just like in the book or movie)! For a first class ride, travel to the North Pole in the Cocoa Class car! Mrs. Claus and the Cocoa Chef will be the hostess’ for you in the first-class car. Families will be served cookies and hot chocolate in souvenir mugs while being seated at table seating.

Santa will visit with each and every family during the return trip. Children (and parents!) are encouraged to come in pajamas.

A signature mimosa will be offered each week and you get to keep your glass!
There will also be mulled wine, coffee, hot chocolate and warm donuts each week. Vendors will rotate weekly and each weekend will feature special events (did someone say Santa?) This is a family friendly market, complete with selfie stations, kids activities, mulled wine, and the spirit of Christmas.

Begin your journey gliding through a winding ice maze full of hidden treasures throughout the cave walls. At the end of your voyage, the royal Ice Princess will be awaiting your arrival to take a whimsical portrait and to greet you at the entrance of the Wintry village. You can also take a stroll down Candy Cane Alley among a fantastic holiday light display! And while you are there, make sure to stop at the train station and post office where you can mail out your letters to Santa! Described as “the most exciting vocal group in a generation,” Windborne’s captivating show draws on the singers’ deep roots in traditions of vocal harmony, while the absolute uniqueness of their artistic approach brings old songs into the present. Known for the innovation of their arrangements, their harmonies are bold and anything but predictable. With a 20-year background studying polyphonic music around the world, Lauren Breunig, Jeremy Carter-Gordon, Lynn Mahoney Rowan, and Will Thomas Rowan share a vibrant energy onstage with a blending of voices that can only come from decades of friendship alongside dedicated practice. The singers educate as they entertain, sharing stories about their songs and explaining the context and characteristics of the styles in which they sing.. In existence for more than 30 years, the Oswego Music Hall offers mostly acoustical musicians every other Saturday night from September to June. On concert evenings, a large empty hall is transformed into an intimate venue replete with candlelit tables, professional staging and sound; as well as an array of freshly baked desserts, hot cider and freshly brewed coffee. When you arrive at the North Pole (Holland Patent, NY), Santa will board the train, spending time with each and every family during the return trip and giving children the first present of Christmas (a silver bell, just like in the book or movie)! For a first class ride, travel to the North Pole in the Cocoa Class car! Mrs. Claus and the Cocoa Chef will be the hostess’ for you in the first-class car. Families will be served cookies and hot chocolate in souvenir mugs while being seated at table seating.

There’s no better way to celebrate the Holiday Season than a train ride with Santa and his helpers. A signature mimosa will be offered each week and you get to keep your glass!

There’s no better way to celebrate the Holiday Season than a train ride with Santa and his helpers. The train is beautifully decorated from the lights strung along the outside to the garland and ornaments on the inside. Enjoy an afternoon train ride with Santa and Mrs. Claus and their helpers. There will be Holiday music, goodies and refreshments for everyone’s enjoyment. The ride runs about 2 ½ hours and reservations are required. Children younger than 3 are Free! Come and celebrate the holiday season at the H. Lee White Maritime Museum's annual Christmas at Sea in Oswego’s Historic Maritime District, located on the West First Street Pier. In addition to enjoying homemade cookies and punch, visitors are encouraged to enjoy the new Museum exhibit, “Lighting the Way, The Oswego Lighthouse in Pictures,” view maritime themed holiday trees and see the model train village exhibition. Santa Claus will arrive at 2:00 pm via US Coast Guard boat and be available till 3:30 pm to hear your child’s Christmas wish. St. Joseph’s music ministry presents its 35th annual Advent Christmas concert entitled “Long Awaited One," conducted by Scott Rutledge and accompanied by Jennifer Evans Fitzgibbon and Aaron Browka. Long Awaited One will feature a wide variety of genres to usher in the season with chamber orchestra and special guest mezzo soprano Andrea Falvo singing and playing some Christmas classics. The choir of St. Joseph’s will be joined by a chamber orchestra comprised of local professionals. The concert is free and open to the public. A light reception will follow in the parish center.

This family holiday event begins at 10 AM in downtown Alexandria Bay with the arrival of river Santa by boat escorted by the US Coast Guard at 11 AM at the village dock. From private bedroom writing sessions, to recording at well acclaimed Nada Recording Studio, Worthley is jumping in head first with Rose Colored Glasses. Almost 3 years after her debut, Sydney Worthley, a shining young star from New York's Capital Region, has continued her journey in music with a new EP. Sydney is reinventing her musical identity with these new alt-pop pieces. From the ballad-like intro of "Sinking Ship", to the pulsing melodies in "4:15", to the reflective title track "Rose Colored Glasses", Sydney Worthley shares delicate stories in this 5 track EP. Melodies and vocal parts nodding towards Florence and the Machine and songwriting styles comparable to Taylor Swift shine through these songs. By writing from personal brooding memory, Worthley strives to make connections with her audience through her healing processes. Strength, growth, and coming of age are all themes in this EP but she's not taking things lightly anymore. She is determined to share her struggles but has gained confidence and wants her audience to feel that through her work.
In 2019, Sydney became an independent artist at the age of 17. In 2017, Sydney released her debut 14-track album titled Strong, followed by performances at at Mountain Jam Music Festival, First Night Saratoga, across New England alongside Sawyer Fredricks, and all over New York's Capital Region. She has earned regular spots on Albany’s 88.3 WVCR and 97.7 WEXT, Woodstock NY’s 100.3 WDST, and WAPS “The Summit” in Akron, OH.
El Modernist delivers a new take on the world of indie rock. With pulsating hooks and lush melodic waves of psychedelia, the band combines upbeat, catchy garage-rock with a modern alternative hip-hop sound. Josh Morris is a drummer first and foremost and when he’s not part of the rhythm section, you can find him in his studio in Upstate NY where he offers session work, production, recording, and mastering services.

Come and be mesmerized as you drive through two miles of twinkling lights and sparkling displays at Liverpool’s Lights on the Lake.

Held each year from Thanksgiving through the first week of January, this captivating display of lights features towering holiday displays, larger-than-life Land of Oz, a Twinkling Fantasy Forest, colorful arches, a delightful Victorian Village, animated scenes and more! There is a fee.

Home for the Holidays features hundreds of elaborately decorated trees, dazzling Holiday displays, and the International Forest–a collection of adorned trees and displays that represent the holiday traditions of cultures from around the world. Each week is packed with activities, live music, and performances to get everyone into the spirit of the season. This annual Gingerbread Gallery has grown from a one-day gingerbread auction to a six-week event featuring more than 30 gingerbread creations made by local bakers of all ages. Winter Fireworks Over Niagara Falls

Enjoy a spectacular display of fireworks over Niagara Falls this holiday season daily from December 26 until January 1. Fireworks will take place each night at 10 p.m. On New Year's Eve (December 31), there will be two displays, 9 p.m. and midnight, to ring in 2022. The fireworks displays can be enjoyed from multiple vantage points. These include outdoor spaces across Niagara Parks and indoors for guests at the many hotels and restaurants within the tourism districts. See amazing illuminations every evening at dusk year-round.
