Maple producers from across New York state welcome families to their farms to experience firsthand how real, mouthwatering maple syrup and other related products are made.

New York is known for its maple syrup and home to more than 2,000 maple sugarmakers! Each year maple producers from across New York state welcome families to their farms to experience firsthand how real, mouthwatering maple syrup and other related products are made. A list of sugar houses can be

Visitors also have the opportunity to enjoy fun, family-friendly activities, taste New York’s freshest syrup and purchase maple products. Tours and product samples are offered at most sites free of charge. Museums are the exception and on-site pancake breakfasts, where available, incur a per-plate cost and prices vary by location.

Most sites are rustic, so dress for cold weather.
