History is Everywhere along the nearly 200 year old Erie Canal
Did you know that the Erie Canal played a major role in the women’s suffrage movement? There are plenty of places to visit in the corridor to learn more about the upstate New York women who made a difference and how they used the Erie Canal to their advantage—the Women's Rights National Historical Park in Seneca Falls and the Susan B. Anthony Museum & House in Rochester are great places to start.
