Majestically seated on a hill overlooking the scenic Hudson River, this National Historic Landmark estate features 200 acres of landscaped grounds with five miles of hiking trails and an historic Italianate mansion. Designed in 1850 for artist and inventor Samuel F. B. Morse, the villa is open to tours daily from May through October and on weekends from November to April.
 

The estate also includes a carriage house, ice house, trails, a flower garden, vegetable garden along with a visitor welcome center with art galleries, museum shop, and classrooms for educational programs. The venue also hosts weddings and events.
