For more than 30 years, Adirondack Saddle Tours has been guiding adults and youngsters alike through the Adirondack trails on horseback. All riders receive a basic lesson on how to ride a horse before beginning and younger riders or those still a little nervous may have a lead rope attached to the guides horse.
Some of the featured trail rides include rides through the wilderness, the popular Cascade Lake ride with grassy area with a large sandy beach and shallow warm water and a ride to the gorgeous Cascade Falls.
Adirondack Saddle Tours is also a member of the “Paralyzed Veterans of America” and paraplegic saddles are available for anyone who has problems using their lower body.
