Take a Highland Sleigh Ride
Enjoy the fresh air and a 20-minute picturesque ride through the Highland Forest, which is also known as “The Adirondacks of Central New York.”
Saturdays & Sundays, December 16 - mid-March, weather permitting with additional day of operation: Tuesday-Friday, Dec. 26-29 & Monday, Jan. 1. 2024)
Enjoy the fresh air and a 20-minute picturesque ride through the Highland Forest, with or without snow. The Highland Forest is also known as “The Adirondacks of Central New York.” Sleigh rides (or wagon rides depending on conditions) are available in winter along with some holiday and weekday rides.
All rides will take place weather permitting. The park recommends calling the office ahead of time to check on the schedule, and to make reservations. Horses and sleighs are provided by Maple Hedge Farms.
