Nestled among the Adirondack foothills, this 1,115-acre state park features a sandy beach on the reservoir of the picturesque Raquette River, a great spot for ice fishing in the winter.
 

Open year-round, Higley Flow State Park's hiking trails double as cross-country ski trails in winter. Other recreational winter activities include snowmobiling, snowshoeing and ice fishing.
 

Household pets are allowed but must be leashed.
