Be a guest at the Howe Caverns Motel on Friday evenings in the fall and experience spectacular fall colors above and below ground. Enjoy a short drive for amazing hilltop views and great fall foliage pics as well as beautiful scenery and colors on a 90-minute walking tour featuring an underground boat ride. The tour can be completed on Friday or Saturday; however, the room must be a Friday reservation.
 
 
Howe Caverns is the largest show cave in the Northeast U.S., and is the second most visited natural attraction in the state of New York welcoming 150,000 to 200,000 visitors per year. It was discovered in 1842 and early tours were given from 1843 to 1900. Present day guided tours of its living limestone cave have been conducted for 89 years.
