The site of the historic 1777 Battles of Saratoga, this multi-site park commemorates the famed Revolutionary War victory with a battlefield tour and monument.

The 3,200-acre park is a popular tourism and recreation site and a wildlife conservation area and is made up of four parts:

The Saratoga Battlefield is located in Stillwater and is the largest of the four sites. Tours of the Battlefield are self-guiding, using information in the park brochure.

The Schuyler House in Schuylerville is the restored country estate of American General Phillip Schuyler. Located about 7 miles north of the Battlefield, the house is open seasonally.

The Saratoga Monument is a 155-foot obelisk commemorating the American Victory in Saratoga. It is located in the village of Victory about 7 1/2 miles north of the Battlefield,

Victory Woods is a trail behind the Monument, guiding visitors into the woods where the British were encamped in the week before the surrender. There is an accessible, half-mile boardwalk and pathway which winds through the swampy woods. It is open every day during daylight hours.

Saratoga National Historical Park also offers a wide range of special events and activities throughout the year. Birdwatching, biking and snowshoeing are some other activities offered in areas throughout the park.
