The first licensed distillery in Albany, NY since Prohibition, the Albany Distilling Company is a small-craft distillery that uses both modern and traditional methods. The company’s ever-changing product line includes unique blends of whisky, bourbon, vodka as well as an unaged rum inspired by their proximity to Albany's original 18th century distillery, using a recipe from that era.

Albany Distilling whiskeys – bourbon, rye and malt – are produced under Ironweed label (named for the Albany-based novel by William Kennedy) while the rums are under the Quackenbush label for Albany’s Quackenbish Square.

Tours of the distillery are by appointment. For tastings of their product, visit their new tasting room/bar, bottle shop and storage facility, ADCo Beer and Bottle Shop, located less than half a mile from the distillery itself, in downtown Albany's Quackenbush Square.
