Located in the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs on historic Congress Park, this lavish, upscale inn is one of America’s great Victorian houses. Built in 1873, this High Victorian Gothic mansion is an elegant mixture of small hotel and living history museum with original 1800’s Batcheller family furnishings and family items on loan from museums.
 

Rooms are individually decorated with antiques and period furniture and come with free Wi-Fi, cable TV and minifridges. Some rooms have 4-poster beds, fireplaces and Jacuzzis and in-room massages are offered.
 

Complimentary amenities consist of parking, and breakfast served in a formal dining room. Other common areas include porches, a library with European woodwork, a parlor with a hand-carved marble fireplace and grand piano. The kitchen walls reach almost 30 feet and are hung with original oil copies of modern masters such as Van Gogh, Picasso, Matisse and Miro.
 

Tours of the house are available. Children age 16 and up are welcome.
