Anchored in the Port City of Oswego where the 'Oswego Canal' portion of the Erie Canal opens to beautiful Lake Ontario, Oswego Expeditions offers historical, educational and recreational activities throughout northern Upstate New York. Its year-round “Education Thru Exploration” Expeditions showcases special points of interest such as the local history of Oswego, Lake Ontario, The Oswego & Salmon Rivers, and New York State Nature Preserves & Parks including The Adirondack Mountains.
 

Oswego Expeditions provides guided walking or biking historical tours around Oswego, as well as kayaking, hiking and mountaineering expeditions, guided snow shoe treks and more. Destinations encompass hundreds of miles of parks, trails, public ways, beaches and conservation areas, including the 46 Adirondack High Peaks and each expedition comes with a heart-rate monitor.
