The magnificence of the Shrine is highlighted by an awe-inspiring Dome Basilica, which is covered with two layers of glass and Plexiglas depicting a contour of the Northern Hemisphere.
 

The impressive approach to the Basilica, down the Avenue of the Saints and around the serenity of the Rosary Pool, has more than 100 life-size marble statues representing Saints from every race and walk of life.
 

Two flights of stairs with 63 steps, lead to the top of the Dome to the magnificent 13-feet-high statue of Our Lady of Fatima, carved from Vermont granite. From the top of the Dome, visitors can view the entire Shrine grounds and surrounding countryside.
