Built in 1890, The Brewster Inn was originally the summer home of financier Benjamin B. Brewster, who along with John D. Rockefeller, Sr., established the Standard Oil Company.

This genteel inn with a carriage house is set on the shores of lovely Cazenovia Lake. It is only 9.3 miles from Chittenango and 5 miles from hiking trails at Chittenango Falls State Park. Boasting exquisite woodwork, including solid mahogany and antique quartered oak, the inn’s chic rooms and suites come with free Wi-Fi and cable TV, plus private bathrooms.

Some have balconies/terraces, fireplaces, whirlpool tubs and/or pull-out sofas. Breakfast and parking are complimentary and there is also an upscale restaurant with an elegant dining room, a terrace and a lakeside bar.
