Keuka Lake Outlet Trail
Keuka Lake Outlet Trail's well-maintained trail offers visitors many outdoor activities and scenic waterfalls
Formerly a canal towpath and later, a railroad bed, the Keuka Lake Outlet Trail is right in the heart of the Finger Lakes, just an hour’s drive from Auburn or Rochester.
The 6.6 miles of well-maintained trail travels between the villages of Penn Yan on Keuka Lake and Dresden on Seneca Lake, offering visitors many outdoor activities and scenic waterfalls. Fish, hike, bike, horseback ride, snowmobile or cross-country ski the wooded trail bordering the outlet created nearly 10,000 years ago.
