Capital Strawberry and Wine Festival
The Capital Strawberry and Wine Festival returns for its third year in the Capital Region on Saturday and Sunday, June 15 and 16, at the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY.
The Capital Strawberry and Wine Festival returns for its third year in the Capital Region on Saturday and Sunday, June 15 and 16, at the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. The festival features more than 50 local vendors, selling everything from local food (including strawberries and strawberry-related treats, of course) to arts, crafts and gifts.
There will be live music both days, and several food trucks serving up a variety of meals and snacks. The Tasting Tent, open both days, features New York State wine, beer and cider for sample and sale, and a commemorative glass is included with the tasting ticket. Designated driver tickets are also available for a reduced rate.
Doors open at 11 a.m. on both days, with the festival running until 6 p.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets can be purchased online; kids are admitted free on both days. More information can be found on the event webpage.
