Myers Lighthouse
The Myers Lighthouse on Cayuga Lake was built in Myers Park in the town of Lansing in 1998 and has remained in use ever since.
Constructed of 3,000 individual bricks that were sponsored by donors, the lighthouse was built as a community project by a group of local volunteers as an attraction for the park. It is lit overnight from April to November and the grounds are open to the public throughout the year. Myers Park also has a swimming area, picnic areas and pavilions, playground, sports fields, a marina and boat launches, canoe and kayak rentals, and a designated camping area.
