The Lobster Pot restaurant in Lake George is a popular steak and seafood destination for locals and visitors alike. As the name implies, their claim to fame is lobster, but that’s not all that’s on the menu: there’s also a wide variety of other seafood, from crab legs to clams to shrimp to a raw bar and a full selection of sushi; and a vast selection of other items for non-seafood-lovers, from steak to sandwiches to tacos to pasta and chicken entrees. A full bar and dessert menu rounds out the options. The casual atmosphere and kids’ menu makes it a family-friendly destination, and you can dine either indoors inside the expansive dining room or, weather permitting, outside on the patio overlooking the mountains and the hustle and bustle on the street outside. There’s also a takeout option. The Lobster Pot is open daily from May to October at 4 p.m.
