Paintings by Patti Weisser & Carlos Alegria
February 20 – March 28, 2021

An artistic exploration of migration and transformation. Patti Weisser grew up in Washington County, NY and now resides in Vermont. She began studying art but switched to the healing arts to make a living. Her paintings are inspired by nature, with quiet, tranquil scenes which bring her great peace and healing, and which hopefully does the same for others. // Carlos Alegria was born and raised in Chile, where the arts were not promoted or valued. Even as a young boy he created art by any means possible despite materials, time and space being hard to come by. He is completely self-taught and his message through his work is for all people to be open to art, to “pick up a brush” and give it a try. His art is for all people, not for mastery. Patti and Carlos are part-time residents of North River, NY. For more information: https://tannerypondcenter.org/event/gallery-weisser-alegria/
