Robert G. Wehle State Park's 1,100 acres showcases more than 17,000 feet of spectacular Lake Ontario shoreline.
Robert G. Wehle State Park boasts 1,100 acres and more than 17,000 feet of spectacular Lake Ontario shoreline. The park’s network of carriage paths and foot-trails brings hikers through a diverse mixture of wetlands, woodlands, meadows and pasture lands. Its three miles of dramatic limestone cliffs – some reaching 80 feet high – provide a breathtaking scenic overlook before dropping down to Lake Ontario’s shoreline.
There is also a guest house and primitive cabin to rent along with more than 10 miles of hiking/mountain biking trails and cross-country skiing, maps, old barns and buildings that were part of the area, a memorial, bathrooms and visitor center, tennis courts, gazebos and cooking places for picnics. PET POLICY: Household pets are welcome but must be leashed. Campsites are limited to two household pets.
