The company offers two railbike trips from its Cooperstown starting point. The Milford Track is a 12-mile round trip follows the Susquehanna River through farmlands and forests and over historic bridges, while the Charlotte Valley Express heads south from Cooperstown for an 8-mile round trip journey past lakes and fields and over the 200-foot Portlandville Trestle.
Both trips include a 20-minute break at the turnaround point, and guests are encouraged to bring a drink or light snack to enjoy during the break. Tandem and quad bikes are available, and dogs are not allowed. Reservations can be made at www.railexplorers.net.
