The Hudson Highlands and Hudson River provide spectacular backdrops and the park's extensive hiking trail network includes terrain that varies from easy to challenging. The park's most popular and well-known trail – Breakneck Ridge was rated by Newsweek as one of the top 10-day hikes in America.
Camping and open fires are prohibited, as are vehicles of any kind.
PET POLICY: A maximum of two pets are allowed in day-use areas and must supervised at all times and either be crated or on a leash.
