Open year-round (except for March), White Caps Winery often hosts live music and the art work of local artists

Set upon the picturesque shores of Lake Ontario’s Chaumont Bay, the nautical-themed White Caps Winery is anchored on the 178-acre Warner farm. The winery’s vintner has been making fine wines in the area for many years and has extensiveknowledge of the of cold hardy varieties used to make the winery’s offerings, such as a dry Seyval Blanc; the medium-dry Golden Crescent, the medium-sweet Sunset and the two sweet whites, On the Rocks and Redneck Yacht Club. Reds include a dry Pinot Noir.
 
 
Open year-round (except for March) and often hosts live music and the art work of local artists. While visiting, guests are invited to walk the trails or cross country ski in winter, play games, take a lunch to the pond, view the vineyard, rent a boat, enjoy the current artist’s works on display, or just sit on the shore and enjoy the sunsets.
 

The winery is less than a mile from the Seaway Trail and it is accessible by water on Chaumont Bay at the entrance to Sawmill Bay. It is also close to local snowmobile trail and the winery’s outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace beckons not just the snowmobilers, but ice fishermen and cross-country skiers as well!
