Located in the Historic District of downtown Clayton, the Thousand Island Museum is a small, but jam-packed with history, displays and the culture of the area.
Open year round, the museum houses a modern gallery of permanent and rotating exhibits on the first floor along with a research library proven to be a valuable resource for students, professionals, historians and scholars. Special exhibits include world-class muskies and hunting decoys from the past and present.
The museum also hosts to the annual Decoy and Wildlife Art Show and is the only place in the world where you can purchase St. Lawrence Tartan. No charge for admission, but donations are accepted.
