Oneida Community Mansion House
Located in the heart of Central New York's Erie Canal Corridor
Principally a Museum located in the heart of the Erie Canal Corridor and designated a National Historic Landmark, the Oneida Community Mansion House is an original circa-1860 estate that was once the home of the Oneida Community, a religiously-based socialist Utopian group led by John Humphrey Noyes.

Replete with lovely gardens, this 93,000-square-foot mansion house also is also open to the public as an overnight guest facility that features spacious rooms with private baths, comfortable period furnishings, cable television and wireless internet service. For those wishing to enjoy the experience, a complimentary Continental Breakfast is included with your overnight stay.
The Mansion House has permanent and changing exhibits that compliment the guest experience, including access to a number of period rooms with museum displays, a sitting room, an upstairs assembly hall, the Community's library, and the nursery kitchen.
Complete with a Museum Gift Shop, the mansion also hosts to a variety of community events year-round, plus there is also a kitchen and dining area available for events.
